Computer Issues - Can't Pass Emissions Test

I wish I had all the original parts because I would just put them back on and then get the car tested, but I dont. I'm not ignoring everyone, a lot of the questions are going in circles. I just try to answer each post. Its really starting to look like I'll have to take out a loan and get a kpro put in, unless I can find a way to get an emissions waiver from the DMV...
Just because you can hear your blow off valve doesn't mean the car is in boost. If your blow off valve isn't adjusted properly or you have a cheap blow off valve it will go off when the motor is under vacuum.

Just do what I said (As well as everyone else) in my last post and you'll have no problem. Looks like your dead set on buying K-Pro anyway so go ahead and buy it.

well, the kpro would fix every engine problem I'm having now plus ones in the future from the car not being tuned. I don't know how much boost its pushing, so I could be damaging the engine, etc.

Yes, I know a little bit about emission testing.

They are actually looking to see if the monitors have run and passed.
BlueDevil;150239 wrote:With the emanage wired in, 2 of the monitors will not come on because they're wired into the emanage and not the ecu. In order for the ecu to see those two monitors, I would have to remove the emanage and rewire the sensors and drive the car on the highway for a certain amount of time at a certain mph.
Again, monitors are not wired into anything. A readiness monitor is a series of test performed by the factory ECU, not the E-manage. The only thing the E-manage could possibly do is block the O2 signal from the ECU. This is not what the E-manage does, otherwise like I said it would be setting multiple other O2 related codes.
BlueDevil;150239 wrote:But doing that with no emanage would cause the ecu to exceed its performance perameters and would most likely cause the engine to either sieze up or detonate.
I would highly doubt that the E-manage is doing anything when not under boost. Also, it is highly unlikely that you would build boost when you are not at or near WOT. If all else fails, remember that it is very hard to hurt an engine at part throttle.

sounds like your car/engine just has alot of damn problems... and you need to either:

a) put it all back to stock
b) spend some money to fix everything like it should have been done in the first place.

btw, this is the last time i will post trying to help you.. you DO NOT have to completly remove the emange, just the o2 wires going to the emange need to be hooked back up to the factory ecu like it came from the factory. you DO NOT have to do anything else like pull charge piping. i think your injectors will be fine, emanage is still hooked up. or do you even have bigger injectors? 310's? and you WILL NOT hurt your engine or anything else.

but it sounds to me like this thing is untuned, you dont know how much boost its pushing or suppose to be pushing. you dont know anything about it. i wouldnt even drive the damn thing until everything is done right.

All very valid points. I appreciate everyone trying to help me out. I wish it was me who built the car up, instead of trying to finish it. I imagine I would have a lot less problems that way. I admit that I'm still new to all of this, and need to expand my knowledge and understanding of how all the components work together. I'll do some more research and work some things out, and try a few suggestions. Thanks for all your help and wish me luck!

No problem, everybody has to start somewhere and if you don't ask any questions, you'll never get any answers!
If after your research you still have questions just post them up.
