96 civic hatch swaybar/exhaust issues

Post by Midori »

well i finally decided to see what you guys have to say about my on going exhaust issue. I have the ASR subframe brace which puts my 22mm rear swaybar about another inch outward from the subframe, well the rear section of my exhaust comes down and sits right on the swaybar, it rattles alot but mostly i just dont like the fact that its sitting on there, i want everything to be free flowing down there.

any suggestions / know of any exhausts that have a huge rear section bed to clear my swaybar and then some, cause i want to upgrade!

Its a really nice exhaust system, why ruin it?

Josh maybe we can look at it and weld a custom axle back that has a hump to go around the sway bar.

my exhaust hangers on the hyungai are adjustable, but if yours is not take a ziptie and on the mount there should be a rubber thing connecting the hanger on the exhaust to the hanger on the car. just pull it up and ziptie it tight but maybe your hangers are diffrent than mine but i beleive thats how most exhaust is hung.

p.s. subframe brace> exhaust

pics?
so far behind im ahead of the pack.

youre telling me that im a ricer because i dont want to dent the FUCK out of My 550 dollar exhaust? i think you saying that its under the car, who cares? is a ricer statement in itself, who the fuck wants to beat shit with a hammer to make it work? ricer? i think so.

i removed my exhaust. put one a highclow cat onto my CX edhaust manifold, and skunk2 mid section without the S bend, there is no rear section. this equals no bent ass exhaust and no sway bar hitting.. im buying Buddy club exhaust, thanks for the intersting covo.
