oil leak
I don't know about that exact gasket(I don't have vtec). But some gaskets that tear easily especially ones that have to twist, rubbing a little Vasoline on it (very light coating, no excess or globs) will lube it and allow it to move while it seats without tearing.

oil leak
Well like whats been said you might be torqueing it down to much but I find it good to put a layer of ultra black on the gasket also and snugging the bolts cause I think there suppose to be like between 10lbs and 12lbs and snugging them usually is perfect.
did that with mine like 3 months ago no oil leaks and runs like a champ.
