according the law i was able to run a true pocketbike on the hwy (on the shoulder).
Its easy man. Buy an angle grinder prolly two cutting wheels one grinding wheel and like 2 softpads. O and some S glasses fosho. all together it would be like 70 bucks and you have it for future projects... Cut it as close as possible to the seat supporting bar I would remove the seat. the sparks can melt that vinyl. I would also cover everything painted for the sparks can also melt paint and burn into glass and then later rust. After you have the most of it cut off take the grinder with two hands with the grinding wheel installed and apply small pressure to the mount untill the area is almost flush about a 1/8 of the surface. Then install the softpad on the grinder this one is for finesse with this installed you are going to apply small pressure on the bar let the pad do the work. When you use this pad on this rounded surface you are going to want to do a wrapping motion on the bar back and forth. This will smooth what is left of the welds in to the remaining surface.
