Also there are no cops at night. Ya you cant go quite as fast at night if thats your thing because you cant see very far but even at a reasonable speed driving this at night is f@ intence expecially if you are out in front.

14 cops?!! must be a pretty boring area besides that road.

Ya that was basicaly on my own. They were 2 bed's per rooms where we stayed and the price was split between 2 people but my roomie/passenger had to back out at the last min. so I got the room to myself.

They do that because they have giant groups of cars going through there speeding and acting like idiots. Therefore they are always pulling people over and making monies off the tickets.

It could have been cheeper, it just depends on how you want to spend your money and where you stay. We stayed at the lodge at the bottom of the tail so I am sure that cost more than the local hotels. We went to UNO's for dinner one night which wasnt the cheepest thing. If you took sandwiches and what not, that would save some cash and as long as you were comfortable with everyone you can put 3 or more people in one room.

Yes we were only there for a weekend. We left early Friday morning and came home on Sunday.

Ya the cops got a grant right before we went last year to patrol the road with more cops because of a few fatal accidents early in the season.

Good thing about it though is that they got alot tuffer on truckers as well. The week before we left there was a big rig that went off the road and it was shut down for a few days and still shut down when some of the guys got there. It reopend just before the Mo guys showed up. Lucky us.
