Road trip US Highway 129 (Tail Of The Dragon)

Ok so I have been throwing around the Idea in my head of setting up a STLHONDAS road trip to this amazing road. I have decided to go ahead and post to see if there is any interest.

For anyone who has not heard of it before it is a Stretch of road 11 mile long with 318 curves. It is pretty well know in the Biking world (also may be know as Deals Gap) There are people that come to this road from all over the world to ride their bikes down the Tail. It is know as one of the top roads to ride in the world.

I would like to get a group together to go to this for a weekend around late June or early July. It is a 8-10 hour drive from here but IMO is well worth it for both the driving experience and the cenery. We would leave on a Friday morning and come back on a Sunday at our leisure.

depending on timing, and what car I am driving at the time, I would be game to do this as well, I love road trips.
