94+ integra rear main seal install???

I am installing a new rear main seal on my 99 Integra LS and I am using a felpro seal.. Anyway it came with 3 wrong gaskets as well as the right size seal. My question was what do I use for the gasket on the outside edge of the piece that bolts onto the engine? Im guessing no RTV?

Hondabond. If your talking about the rear plate where the rear main seal attches into.

Yup, so thats what they used there... thanks

I am going to pick up an Acura/Honda seal as well, do you by chance know of any other Honda cars that use the same seal so I can get it from Honda instead of driving 30 mins to Acura?

Its also pretty awesome you have to take the oil pan off to get to the seal bolts and to take the oil pan off you have to take the downpipe off.. gotta love it...

You can just loosen the oil pan bolts and sliper the back plate off and then install the mail seal last.

u got a fel pro seal but want to buy oem acura? wow! buting the same part twice ftw!
