d-series.org or turbod.com are two very good sources of info on d series motors. Aslo the D15b7 and D16z6 internals are interchangeable but you will need a VX water pump and timing belt (vx = 92-95 honda civic vx).

if you need more info pm myself or 1slob8teen and we can help you out

Wow, no offense to anyone but just about every post in this thread is wrong.

Do a little research on D-Series and you'll find the answer's to all of your questions.

http://www.d-series.org

You don't have a VTEC engine, the D15B7 is a non-VTEC engine. I wouldn't try and upgrade the internals on the D15B7, your better off selling it and buying a D16 IMHO. You'll have an easier time finding aftermarket internals.

The D15B7 and D16Z6 internals are NOT interchangeable, as thsmrtone1 said. And if you need a timing belt and/or water pump, you would order one for any 1992-1995 Honda Civic LX/DX, NOT from a VX.

The D15B7 is not 92hp, its 102hp at the crank.

If you have any other questions, feel free to PM anytime.

lol that makes more sense... the jdm d15b is basically the vx block and a z6 head.... unique with different crank (bigger rod journals than other d15's) and pistons... rods are the same as z6
