diy thermo vale on accord and maybe others
ok so lets try this and sorry i cant spell
how to fix a hunting idle on 94 95 accords this might work on others as well
i know thathonda quit using this vale on 96 and up
the thermo vale is located under the throtal body
the ez way to tell if u need to fix this is remove ur intake and u will see two holes in the throtal body opening in front of the butterfly start the car and put ur finger over the hole if ur idle goes back to normal it is this vale
to fix it remove the to small coolent hoses
there is 3 10mm bolts on the under side remove them
it will need a little bit of wiggleing to come off
on the back side u will see to 8mm nuts remove these then u will see the vale take a flat head and turn the vale clockwise untill it is snug
put the end cap and 8 mm bolts back on
and just reinstal it the same way it came off put the lines back on check the coolent level and it should be good to go
