Sounds like a bent axle (not sure how that would happen though), bent wheel or hub, hub pressed into bearing sideways (also hard to do but not impossible), or ???

What year was your car? If it's 96-up, do you still have the OBD2 ECU? If so, that would help you troubleshoot any sort of engine issue the car has.

Wish I was closer, I'd go for a drive in the car and see what I could figure out.

A few questions:

1. When you experience the vibration, does the steering wheel wobble?
2. Does the wobble only occur on the shift or is it any time you are accelerating/decelerating?
3. Does the wobble get worse with vehicle speed or engine speed?
4. Can you push the clutch in and have the wobble go away for the mostpart?
5. Does it get worse when you turn left or right?
6. When you installed the trans, did you put in a different flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, or axles?

Let me know and I'll try to help you get it troubleshot.
1. Yes the steering wheel moves left to right.
2. It is most noticeable in 2nd and 3rd gear. About 24mph - 45mph. Still shakes after that but not bad at all, more like a vibration.
3. Yes, when i accelerate harder it seems to shake more but once in 4th-5th gear its not very noticeable. If i am at a really low RPM and in 4th it will shake cause it needs to be downshifted but once up to par its ok.
4. When i puch the clutch in or stop accelerating there is no wobble/shake.
5. Turning doesnt make a difference on the shake/wobble.
6. When we installed the tranny getteg and i replaced balljoints, axles, tie rod ends, Exedy BNIB clutch, throwout bearing, pressure plate, flywheel resurfaced, and i got an alignment after all of this.

I am going to buy an OEM axle tonight from a guy off of honda-tech. Hopefully that fixes something.
RyanA thanks for all of this. Let me know if the info above gives you any clues on any of this.
I can maybe take a vid of the dash shaking and stuff if that would help.

Are o'reilly axles legit? I have gone through quite a bit of autozone axles with boots ripping and the clicking.

I've had pretty good luck with the Oreally axles. I can't keep them from making a single click after a few weeks but they have never torn a boot or anything like that.
