AP2 owners, clutch delay valve

Post by ryansDc5 »

So, I thought my clutch was slipping already. Which is a common thought for AP2 owners. I did some reading, and like BMWs, AP2s come with a "clutch delay valve" which stops the clutch from engaging at high RPM shifts. The easy solution is to buy an 03 slave and just swap it out. Just a heads up for people who think their clutch is fucked already on their AP2s. I will prolly do the swap soon.

good to know, and yea s2k clutchs are kinda notorious for that "numb" feeling after a few good launches and shifting hard

is that the little hockey puck looking thing inline with the clutch slave cylinder? If so, I had a Prelude with one of those bad as well.
