No, that would be the even worse on a CRVTEC motor.kra95civic;176677 wrote:you would only run that ecu if you did a crvtec.. rob was right a chipped po6/p28 would be the way to see it up. did you ever go get it looked @.

man I forgot how hard it is to get serious help on this site. Well the car now randomly dies at idle and also I figured out that the ECU resets every time the car is shut off. And appearently it comes up with new fuel maps every time it starts up cause if it starts bogging and you shut it off then start it back up it runs better. I'm taking the car to the B series master tonight.

This is such an easy fix. Get a pr4 and tune it. Depending on what you are doing with the motor use a gsr ecu. The reason i say that is the gsr ecu has a knock sensor. So for boost or all motor its a safe haven. If your just leaving it stock a pr4 with b20 maps will work just fine. Want some more ponies adjust the timing a bit on the high end.
Ps: the reason its dogging down is cause when you give it more gas the ecu adjusts fuel off the tps first and injects fuel according that a 1.8 liter motor would use. It doesnt know its running lean untill the first cycle of the engine goes around and the exhaust goes by the o2 then it adjusts for the lean mixture. Usually obd2 ecu's will save their maps but an ecu can only compensate so much before it throws a rich/lean mixture code(In your case a lean mixture). Easy fix get a ls ecu and get a vafc and turn the fuel up a notch or to till the air/fixture is right and you shouldnt have anymore problems outta her
