Pros: VAFC company makes money when you buy it.

Cons: A lot a money for a little power increase. Not a good "tuning" method when you go turbo, Expensive

remember this thread: http://stlhondas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9555

like stated... pretty much a waste of money on a stock/close to stock motor. and no, they arent required for boost. I would actually strongly suggest you stay away from a vafc for boost and buy a real engine management system.
This post comes with a guarantee: I guarantee that I don't care what you think about it.

well like i said i will post my gains after next week when my AFC Neo gets tuned but i have seen 15-20 peak hp gains on the s2k and for the s2k that is really good because most other mods do not do to much. As for AEM ems that is an awesome system but also has an awesome price tag...also i read that everyone kept suggesting hondata. Well for the s2k hondata reflash is only available for the 05-06 and there is some k-pro adapter but that is just as much as aem ems so the afc is a reasonably cheap way to pick up some hps

I've seen dyno charts from ludes with afc neo's that gained 25whp.
