It depends on whats done to the car. If its still stock, or close to stock, I wouldn't change the VTEC crossover.

CHris on your cAR it would not really be a gain. But what is about them is that you tune your MAP settings and adjust when vtec engages, I have one in my hatch. Oh yeah Chris's S2000 has intake and exhaust.

Only the A'PEXi V-AFC lets you trick the ECU's MAP sensor reading. Other VTEC controls don't do that.HondaChild;121309 wrote:CHris on your cAR it would not really be a gain. Get hondata, a VAFC for S2k wont do much and they dont work on K-series.

An S2K isn't a K-Series.risktypes;125069 wrote:Get hondata, a VAFC for S2k wont do much and they dont work on K-series.
It will only help if you have mods done to he car already. Hondata is a great product tho. My TL-S will be tuned with the Apexi NEO after a few more mods.

Really, it came witha an F series, who would of guessed? :smashfreakB:N2HIFI;125118 wrote:that would be a f-series chief
I'm saying the VAFC doesn't work on any K series and doesn't do much for the F series (the s2k f series since it is it's own "F series" as opposed to the F family, you'd gain maybe a 5-10 hp and it's not worth the $$ and dyno time so go with hondata if you want true power for the $$) since the K series is basicly based off of the F series, if you knew that but i take that as a you didn't.

You know i'm not going to be my usual smartass as i usually am but i'm going to take it you have no clue about how a VAFC would work on an S2K do you? I'm just going to laugh at you just because you think you'll gain more out of a VAFC on an S2k. Cash for power, your best bet money wise would be to get hondata if you want true gains out of an s2k.SilverStreak;125212 wrote:Thanks for giving us info thats irrelevant to the thread. And gains? The F20/22C with a VAFC do not work miracles and get gains like previous series would as well the VAFC does nothing for the K series. I threw in K series for people who would or want to run K in the future, runs across this thread and thinks about a VAFC on their path to a K since the K series are based off of the f20/22C. But again, i guess you did not know that.
