i have a d16y7 and im not sure wat the tranny is but the gears are way to long. it will do 40 in 1st gear and 70 in 2nd gear. is the y8 tranny a better option? or do you have any suggestions on wat to do?

The 92-95 EX/Si and 96-00 EX transmissions are always a better option.

you would have to get the correct ecu and either wire up vtec or buy a harness from a vtec car(ex, si, or hx) make sure to get an obd2a ecu if your car is 96-98 or an obd2b ecu for 99-00. same goes for the harness. they have to match

also with that, the secondary O2 sensor is apart of the ex cabin harness. to get by that you'll just need to run an extension harness from the ecu to an O2 sensor after the catalytic converter.
