unless you regularly change the fluid in your auto trans than it IS NOT recommended to change auto trans fluid on a honda. it will cause more problems and not make the problems any better but make them worse.
if you havent yet check the syncronization of your throttle cable and shift cable at the throttlebody. if they arent perfectly in sync it cause problems liike youre having otherwise your trans is just getting worn out.
I was reading on the transmission and another thing it could be is the throttle control cable. It says it regulates the shift points and shifting is what I am having a problem with. Anybody know how to see if it needs adjusted or anything.

I just started getting my 94 accord prepped for winter and it does the same thing. It seems to work way better once it's been driven a few miles and had a chance to warm up. I haven't checked the fluid yet, but how do I go about adjusting the cables at the throtle body?
