Hydro or cable transmission???
I have another question, i have a B16a with a LS tranny. I want a new tranny so i can have some acceleration. Would i be able to tell much difference between a GSR tranny and a B16 tranny? If so in which gear. I already looked at the gear specs but none of it makes much sense to me.

b16 tranny has shorter gears for better acceleration
b18 tranny has gears just like an ls but different in some way not sure
this would be a good time for rick to jump in here

I would assume the B16 trannies gears are closser because of the lower displacement and HP. With the gears closser it gives you better accelaration over the B series trannies longer gears.
I also believe if I remember right that the LS and GSR's trannies have the same gearing 1st-3rd
Remember though I am not a tranny specialist.
