I have historically used OEM filters... partially because I know people at dealerships and they can pick them up for me at reasonable prices... and because I replace my crush washer at every oil change.

+1 i dont care what anyone says Honda motor... Honda Filter. when you work at the dealer and see all the old people that come in with their 89 civic 4 door with almost 400 thousand miles and they only have it serviced at the dealer it sets some standards

i find it funny how people are so quick to follow a bandwagon. for what it's worth..tony palo has always used fram filters and stand by them. they are just a filter and virtually all do the same job despite popular belief.

i use purolator on my hatch just because i like spending money on it and on allllll my other cars i use whatever the cheapest is...fram, stp, oreilys brand whatever it is, etc..
like people on here know who tony palo is lol. and i use fram or stp

I think its more piece of mind for me. I dont like the idea of cardboard held together with glue when I can have stamped metal for about the same price.

I am sure the technology of the glue and cardboard is up to par as you dont hear of every car with a fram blowing up, I am just a little paranoid.
