B16a swap done

Post by black rex »

Yea so screw the supercharged Y8. I decided to just get a B16 instead and i built the shit out of it. I'm so much happier with it. Ohhh and what turbo kit should i get , cause im looking at a greddy...? Rickles i know ur prolly not to happy with me but i know ur crx is boosted and i would think you know the best route to go.. But here is my Question I boutght new vaccume hoses and i cannot remember where they all go for this motor. So would anyone happen to have a diagram for this? i Cant find one

thanks.

I wouldnt get the Greddy kit, they are pretty weak considering the amount of money spent...I would look into a peakboost or AFI turbo kit.

the one on the front of the intake goes to the fpr, the one on the back plug off, theres two on the TB one goes to the map and the other just plug off. Actually if you can get a TB with the map on it it works better and then ya only have 1 vaccum line on the whole setup like mine.

Now its a bit different if you decide to not find a different TB, you can run one from the map which is closest to the firewall and plug the other off, or you can do the one closest to the fire to the map and the other to the canister. You pick your poison

If you have a stock hood, there should be a vac. diagram on the underside.

GReddy kits are junk, as said earlier. Full-Race, AFI, and Autoworks are the best kits out there.
