Well, I ask ya'll because I know you guys know what you're talking about. I have looked up in manuals, but I've had no luck. I'm glad somethings hooked up right..lol. Just need to figure out why the ecu light is staying on,and all that.

Try plugging the plug on the MAP into the TPS, and the TPS into the MAP.

find out how many times the light on the ecu is blinking and we can tell you what the codes mean.

have you tried pulling the hazard fuse to reset the ecu since you have been messing with it? you should be doing that regularly when you are changing stuff around to try and fix this. if the light comes back on it should be accompanied by a code on the ecu...

Yep,just tried reseting the ecu..light stays on,on the ecu itself. Car WILL NOT rev past 3500.

Is your car still obd0? Pull back the passanger side floor mat and read the blinking light on the ECU.

he knows how to check the ecu for codes, we have been going over that in PM's for like a week. plus, he said that the light on the ecu itself is staying on... which I hope doesn't mean that the ecu is done.

can you do me a favor tho and try connecting the MAP to the other port on the throttle body? might not help, but I am more used to seeing it run to that middle port. also, try running the car and unplugging the connector to the map to see if it makes a difference in how it runs.
