where the does the vacuum line thats laying on the intake mani go? i know on my old y8 it went on the back bottom corner of the IM but on the new b18b i cant feel it or see it anywhere. anyone know where it goes?

that line is from the cruise control. if you dont have c/c anymore i would just take it out. otherwise if you're putting the c/c back up you could probably just T it off the brake booster line.

it is hooked up to a diaphram. basically the vacuum will pull the diaphram shut and it will in turn pull on an extra throttle cable either connected to the gas pedal or near the throttle body. it will only pull the cable a little bit. when cc is on and your cruising it has a little tension on the cable allowing you to maintain speed. when you go up a hill it will sense more engine load (or vacuum). it will then pull the cable, opening the throttle body just enough to keep your speed.

hmm, thats really insteresting, i always thought it was computerized but, ya that makes a lot more sence, cause i mean i use my cruise control, and going up hill, ill feel that extra little pull that it has, but i always thought it was something to do with the computer modulator thats under the hood on the right by the bar that hold the hood up. lol

also i had a guy on another forum say it looks like i have the wrong wires going to iat sensor he said it should be a green wire instead of the yellow one. is that true?
