low hesitation at idle like it will jump then about 7 seconds later do it again. but the tach does not move at all. and it does it when going from a stop, the car also has no power at all really.andyjt;84213 wrote:Low RPM hesitation? High Load % hesitation?

No CEL right. Possibly could be a bad ignition coil. How do the plugs look? Check wires, possibly high resistance. Cap? Rotor?HondaChild;84223 wrote:low hesitation at idle like it will jump then about 7 seconds later do it again. but the tach does not move at all. and it does it when going from a stop, the car also has no power at all really.

roger the reason why i asked if you have a cel is because i had one onetime and it came accoss as a cranck angle sensor which is in the dist so i took the distrib apart and there was some wires in the dist that had the insulation worn out on it

Well I hope its not the cap wires or coil because all of those MSD items. and I just replaced the plugs about 1500 miles ago and they looked normal. I also just took the cap off no water but the distibutor was rather warm to the touch and the car has been of for about an hour.andyjt;84231 wrote:No CEL right. Possibly could be a bad ignition coil. Measure resistance between the plug wires. Also the resistance of the ignition coil. Hows the maintenance on other items: Fuel filter etc.HondaChild;84249 wrote:Well I hope its not the cap wires or coil because all of those MSD items. and I just replaced the plugs about 1500 miles ago and they looked normal. and I have never replaced the fuel filter but supposedly it was done when a new gasket was installed about a year ago.andyjt;84257 wrote:Measure resistance between the plug wires. Also the resistance of the ignition coil. Hows the maintenance on other items: Fuel filter etc.
