a/c cold then warm!?

Its insanely hot outside right now and my a/c in my 97 integra has decided to act up on me. On the highway it works great, gets cold and works fine. Problem starts when I stop. If I'm just sitting at idle it quits blowing cold air. It will usually start back blowing cold air when I start moving again, but sometimes it doesn't. It kind of picks when it wants to work. Any ideas?

Check your cooling fan. It pulls heat from the condensor(in front of the radiator)while your stopped, when going down the road airflow alone will do the job.

Could be the water valve getting stuck open....at least in BMWs that can be the case!!!
I know a trick for helping your ac stay cold that we do on the S2000s..... if I can find the link again I'll give it to you.
