well i took my knocking d16 to a machine shop and they said i spun #4 main bearing which scored the crank and the block. Said the block could be fixed but probably isn't worth the cost. what to do? opinions?

I have an A6 block but it needs to be decked/milled. The last owner drove the car around with a bad HG for over two months a warped the block a little. Its dirt cheap if you want. BTW, sorry I haven't gotten back with you about the alternator. I still have it if you need it, but I'm guessing not.Silver Knight;49986 wrote:contact Rob (SilverStreak).
