Yeah I think I will stick with the D-series at least for a while. I wanna get it rebuilt, though, I don't want it taking a shit on me. I think I wanna get a tubo set up and then get it rebuilt with the turbo, that way it's used to the turbo.

True, true. Yeah I'm gonna work on my D-series for a while then and later on I may get a different motor to work on while the D-series is still in it. Like way down the line. But for a good long while I am gonna stick with the factory motor.

I just need to figure out the steps I need to take in order to do so..Like, I'm gonna get an exhaust system, secret weapon intake, do a mini-me swap, get a turbo kit, rebuild the engine with the turbo installed. Hmmm what're some good things to do?

dont do the mini me. get a z6 or y8 and build it. and start reading up on homemadeturbo.com and turbod16.com on how to build your turbo setup and build the engine.

why spend that much money on something that doesnt get you much in hp? just turn the boost up a pound or two and make up the difference.

also, most of the time a person does a mini me is to raise the compression and/or get vtec. raising the compression does allow you to make more hp per pound of boost, but is harder to tune and easier to blow. and as for as vtec.... just get a z6 or y8 and have vtec.

I believe the y8 is the better motor IIRC, apparently they don't like to spin bearings as easily
This post comes with a guarantee: I guarantee that I don't care what you think about it.

You might want to do a little (edit: A LOT) more research, before you start modding your car again.
