Hey guys,
So my car's not starting unless the engine is cold. And when it does start, it starts horribly and then at idle it'll rev up to 3000rpm then drop to 2500 and then rev back up to 3k (repeating). Is this my IACV? I need to get this fixed asap since it's my only car.
Need help ASAP!

Take it off, clean it and see if that was it.JonDubya;33624 wrote:Hey guys,

WIring to the ecu was a little fucked, but i fixed it. and then a friend of mine messed it up again, and it's been downhill since then. not throwing a CEL. When I try to start the car and it won't start, the IACV makes some weird buzzing noise. not sure how to clean it out.

Take it off, usually dirt and grime get stuck on the filter.JonDubya;33645 wrote:WIring to the ecu was a little fucked, but i fixed it. and then a friend of mine messed it up again, and it's been downhill since then. not throwing a CEL. no CEL when idleing that high? thats surprising... its gotta be some sort of vacuum leak though because the amount of air that is needed to idle that high cannot be done without quite a bit of vacuum leak...
I miss my honda ;(

Most likely the IACV, get a new one and slap it on. Same happened to my civic.
