New Parts

Post by N2HIFI »

Well i finally got some of the major parts required for the new build so i figured i would post them up.

YCP- suzuki grand vitara pistons (bad ass low cost turbo pistons with stock honda bore size 75mm) The are aluminum and teflon coated and will handle 30psi and over 400hp 8.5:1 but will be 9.1 with my block head combo.

Hasting Rings- stock civic d series bore (and once again bad ass with low cost) handle 30psi and over 400hp

Tuner Toy rods- H-beams pretty much same as the eagles , just have some manufacturing differences to make h-beams clear with less machining, also come with arp bolts.

Also picked up a Y8 block just need to have the crank turned and then spec'd so i can order new bearings, then heat tanked and cleaned up then have the new parts installed.

i still have to order a full gasket set, but i already have headd studs on the way, the timing belt and misc other item here. i am thinking it should be realy to go into the car in about a month after i get the car back from paint.

ok now for some pics

body goes for paint in a week or so depending on how fast i get Dabeast within's car done this week.

I also have ALOT OF prep work to do to the car still before it goes to paint.

as far as running gear, i have a si tranny but it will need a lsd and upgraded axles and a BIG clutch but these are things that i will order over the next month or so.

I still have to order, suspension componets, motor mounts, intercooler, BOV fuel pump, rims.. etc you know the big stuff the motor componest were easy.
