Swapped Ks? anyone

whos running a swapped K series? Im considering doing a k20 with the 2.3 stroker kit, instead of turboing the LS thats in the car now. Anyone out there with any good info or a swapped car I can check out?

What do you want to know? You'll need new axles, a Type-S or 98 Accord shifter, mount kit from hasport, probably a TSX DC Sports header...

Just know that the swap alones gonna cost at least 7 g's,and thats if you catch deals an do the work yourself.Add the stroker kit,hondata,and tuning and your lookin at a major investment.All motor,especially a k swap,kick ass.But you can make mo powa fo less money with the turbo ls.Just my 2 cents.

The K20a that we put in Jesse's car ran us almost up to 9k. the motor was 5.5k alone at the time we did this, 2+ years ago... thats not including mounts, (which we had the first hasport mounts made for this swap and broke them 3x)axles, shifter + cables, harness, rcrew header, etc... I wouldn't even think of doing the stroker kit until you have a solid kswap.. a good K20a will lay down some crazy power but at a high price.. for the money put a turbo on your ls and go from there...

I was going to do the same thing in my crx, and it has a b18 in it already. after mounts, shifter box, axles, header, hood (K's are taller) it was quite pricey and I decided to just turbo what i have. If money wasnt a factor I would do the swap for sure.
