If you didn't notice, they thread topic is "quarter mile times"... if you want quicker times, you need tires. maybe he'll go from 15's to 14's? you gotta start somewhere....
like tim said, there are plenty of other areas to improve on before he would need DR's. i ran my fastest pass on some shitty 30$ a peice tires that were running low psi. my advice to him would be to learn to drive his car, improve in the other necessary areas(suspension, power, driver mod) then if he wants to get a set of DR's go for it
i may not be "logical" but at least i can change my oil...

its ok, i have full leathers. they're required when racing motorcycles that trap over 120mph.

i like how all you honda/supra/sentra people like to argue about EVERYTHING. its about as bad as STLSR. this doesn't happen on the Mustang or Hayabusa forums i visit. i can hear it now... "well go to those forums instead!" blah blah blah.... faggoty blah....

So you're suggesting that someone who has NEVER taken their car to the track, and might not like being laughed at, spend money on drag racing only equipment. That's going to be better than looking at other parts that could be used/enjoyed somewhere outside of Gateway? Of course drag radials are going to help with getting off the line...that isn't the argument.

Oh, and trying to act hard with a motorcycle on a car related message board is like pulling your dick out in public. Please keep it in your leathers, next time.
