Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps

You obviously know he was implying Drag Radials... dont be a sarcastic douche. At least he has the idea of using DR's, most of you honda/cobalt owners probably have never owned a set. :monroe:

because with a stock ls swap there is no need for DR's. its not exactly a high hp monster. so do owninng slicks make you cool now? dang guess its time to go buy a set for my ls swap too so i can be cool. learn to drive the car on street tires, then when you get something that actually needs DR's get them
i may not be "logical" but at least i can change my oil...

1. I said Drag Radials, not SLICKS. Big difference...
2. They don't necessarily make you "cool" by owning them, but it doesn't hurt if you want to run quicker ET's. Street Tires never helped me go fast. :drive:

So youre lucky. Thanks for the story, you only prove my point. Im just saying, spraying wasnt going to help, when your car was already running like shit.

wow a big bad 302 beat to fuck looking mustang just made fun of hondas/cobalts.
Oh and better be careful unless that 94 is a stalled cammed geared 5.0L it would be a close race with my automatic cobalt!
Sadly ive had much faster toys the cobalt is a dd that im bored with.

And if thats what he meant should of said it. Yes I did know. But thats beside the point. His car doesnt make the power for anything other than a slightly sticky all season. And Ive owned DRs before. They were on the 89 mustang I had. Did I need them? no. Why did I have them? honestly they were cheap and came on a set of rims I bought.

Now justify to me why a mid 15 second car needs Drag radials?
