Charity event help

I think I can get some flyers and things made and I know for sure I can round up some peps to pass it out and even spread the word on different forums. Lets get a place secured first and then work out the date and then we go from there. But #1 on the list should be LOCATION!!

Yes location, date, and charity should be the top priorities right now. I have no doubt we can find quite a few sponsors and donations. I know people will help out with this too.

I suggested early August. Gives enough time to get everything organized so it's not as much of a crazy mess when time comes. I think a Saturday would be a better day for this.

PUR has a huge lot. Maybe we could do it there. Although they do have their own show in sept or oct.

Someone on stlsr suggested we have it next spring. I think thats actually a better idea

"Maybe look to try and set it up for next spring sometime. This way you can promote through the winter and you won't be competing with umpteen million other car related things that are going on through the summer."

i think we have something in like sept or so. Like an end of the year show. Anytime after that would be too cold or what not. I think 5 months of planning is plenty time (considering its still the start of May) and like I said having an end of the year meet wouldnt get in the way of anything. Either way I wouldnt mind havin it next year. But also, if this year or next we still need to figure out LOCATION. Doesnt matter when you have it but if you dont have a place to have it at, its all for nothing. I think figure that out and everything will fall into place. Getting people and cars together obviously isnt hard and food is easy to figure. I think we could easily plan everything out by the end of the month.

I was also thinking about that ridiculously huge church where the Go Cart place used to be in Earth City that you can see from the highway?

that would be awesome! that Faith Chruch or whatever. Thats def a huge parking lot. And plus being a charity event im sure they wouldnt mind. I bet they have a huge congragation also and im sure theres some car enthusiasts and people interested to come.
