I have a quick question, is there a difference ins a 3s-FE and 3S-GTE head. say is someone bent a valve ins the se, could I use parts from a GTE head they have sitting around?

No. the 3s-fe has narrow angle cams (F in the engine code) usally dont make as much power as wide angle (G in the engine code) so the 3s-gte has larger cams and stronger springs, although a 3sgte head will bolt up to a 3sfe motor the 3sfe motor has weaker internals and everything in the gte is built stronger. so you may be able to swap out parts but you cant just swap out say one valve and spring and not replace all the rest without problems. And in the US they only had the 3s-fe in the 1st gen stage(86-89), meaning only the first gen 3s-gte would bolt up.
