you told me i needed a rear tanny bracket from a 92-95 lude NOT a h22 prelude i got exactly what you told me and good luck on finding that in a junkyard
also the parts list is misleading also

11. I forgot to state that you need the Rear Engine bracket from the 4th or 5th gen Prelude, some H22's swaps are sold with Accord rear brackets. It is important that you note this down or AZ Races' rear engine mount will not fit.
it does not exactly state that you need a h22 mount just that you need the tranny mount from a 4th or 5th gen lude. It is very clear now that you need a h22 mount BUT it's not like i knew this when getting the mount i got

lol. its not that he didn't do his research, he's been researching this swap for well over a year. It's just he was relying on the wrong people with the info. this is a very seldom done swap finding good detailed info on it is hard to do.99BlackHatch;195375 wrote:Research

I noticed that too when Chris grabbed info from PreludeZone or wherever and posted it. I can understand where critical pieces were not clarified.

Wtf
Well a little update on this train wreck of a swap i am doing
so after all the "confusion" on what mount was needed for the swap and a mad frantic search to get the "right one" after taking a week off for personal/medical reasons i finally got a chance to tear back into the car tonight and install the rear mount and attempt to finish up the swap.
well they say that pictures are a worth a thousand words ... here is a picture of the "correct" mount installed

see anything wrong with this ???? other then the fact that the fucking swap mount is located too far fwd and the hole does not line up at all.... i see nothing wrong i mean it's supposed to be fucked up right .... WTH
okay well luckly i have cool tools to fix issues like this .. so i pull the mount back out and figure i can just enlarge the hole enough to get it to line up correctly...BUT there is a issue with that .. there is a welded nut on the other side that the bolt threads into ... well what now?

Ahh ill just use my impact and break the welds on it and break it off there ... okay done deal .. now simply take my bad ass new grinder with a carbide bit and do some work

okay now back in the car and just needs to be lined up and bolted down

okay lined up bolted down and FINALLY the motor is fully mounted in the car ..."correctly" lol

and i say "correctly" because the motor still sits wrong , shit hits everwhere , the mounts rub when the motor shifts around, the power steering pump is hitting against the core support and the low pressure side that runs to the resivoir sits on the core support with NO way to put a hose on it ... and this is just the start
:shakes head:
