It will start and idle...
Won't hardly rev though. If it does rev, it has a hard time doing it and backfires...
I've tried swtiching the MAP and TPS clips. No dif...
I've tried to see if there's any codes. I jumped the ecu w/the little blue plug and no codes. That is, if I did it right?...
What could this be?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Please give me some ideas.

check to make sure the air temp sensor and iacv arent switched the iacv should have a black and a blue wire going to it. the air temp sensor should have a yellow/black... i dont remember the other wire color off the top of my head, maybe green/white.

if i am seeing it correctly in one of your pics i can see the plug with the blue and black wires going to the air temp sensor. it should be going to the iacv.

yeah, I've tried switching those sensor clips. I don't think it made any difference. Thanks for the replies though.

Alright guys. I have this thing runnin. I have ONE problem.
I'll tell you a bit of a story. When I got this car, it had already been swapped to a d16Y7 which I have already told you if you read my intro post. Anyway, it wasn't quite runnin right. The problem was, when I would start it, it would not idle right. It would idle really low then go up a small amount(probly round 1500rpm or so) then come back down to regular idle. Then again. And if I would rev it, it would bog and not want to rev. Now, I found that if I would unplug the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line, it would be just fine. Rev fine and idle fine. So, before I parked it for the swap, I would just drive it around w/the vac line unplugged from the fuel pres reg.
So, now w/the new engine, it is runnin fine but has the exact same problem!! So, my question to you who know, what is the reason for this? Is it something they did wrong in their wiring when they did the swap before? Or do I have the vacuum line in the wrong place?
I am posting 2 pics....One of the new engine's fuel pressure regulator vacuum line. And one of the old engine's.

Not sure why the pics are upside down? haha Just turn your head. :)

This problem is my only problem though. Besides it, it runs very nice.

i would not drive around with vacuum line unplugged as long as fpr gets vacuum it should work just fine, your problem sounds electrical. go through and double check all the plugs.

what color wires are going to your...

1. iacv
2. iat
3. map
4. tps

1. iacv
blk/ylw stripe
blue/ylw stripe

2. iat
red/white stripe
grn/white stripe

3. map
ylw/red stripe w/red dots
white w/red dots
grn/white stripe w/red dots

4. tps
ylw/white stripe
grn/white stripe
red/blue stripe

Pretty much what this thing is doin now is...it idles fine. But it doesn't have much throttle response. When I rev it, it'll rev up and when it comes back down, it is off timing. Then it slowly makes it back up to regular idle and is on timing. I've done this w/a timing light on it. Now I haven't timed it w/the ecu jumped. Just non jumped. If I jump it when it's runnin, it idles way low and my dizzy is all the way toward the radiator.?????????????????
Help me please.
Thanks

I've cleaned the IACV. It's like new. The car is flashing a 10 which is the IAT. Sometimes it flashes a 14 which is the IACV. Recently it's only flashing the 10. I've tryed switching the two w/each other. It won't start that way. I've looked at the wiring at the ecu. The guy that swapped the D16Y7 in before me, did not use an 0bd0-0bd1 conversion harness or anything. So, I'm guessing he tryed to run the engine by repinning the wiring at the ecu. This is not good. I have no idea how to go back to stock.?????
There are wires that have been clipped and taped back up and some just clipped and sitting there not connected to anything!!!!
One wire that's clipped and not connected, is A12(which says it should be going to main relay) And pins near it are IACV and Main Relay/Injector Resistor Box.
So, I'm trying to find a 90 CRX Si wiring harness from the ecu to where it plugs in at the engine bay. That should fix any wiring problems the guy made for me.
If anyone has a wiring harness that I've said I need, let me know.

Also, does anyone know if the pin out for the 88-91 civic dx would work for what I need? I'm still talkin bout the ecu to engine bay plugs wiring. There's lots of civic dx's in the salvage yard near me, but I don't know if they'd work.????
Thanks in advance
