The skunk 2 part is basically an extension that fits between the cable and the factory shifter, adding length after the pivot point which shortens the throw. I am half tempted to try and put one of these on the end of the Mugen shifter to see if i can make it even shorter :lmao:

Welcome to the site BTW!!
I don't know if it will work the same, but the Fit has the same sort of short shifters/adapters available. One guy on Fitfreak.net did add the Skunk2 adapter to the Mugen short shifter. It worked, but he had to use a ball peen hammer to make an indentation into the metal behind the assembly. Otherwise, 1st, 3rd, and 5th would hit metal because of the added length of the adapter on the already shortened Mugen box. Just something to think about.

/Again, welcome to the new guy.

hmm see I don't like having to modify the parts I'm putting on too much. Personally I don't like extremely short throws, I just want one that's a little shorter yet still comfortable to shift with. Plus I just thought it would be a good addition to the skunk2 weighted shift knob I'm getting for xmas :party3:

I was just curious if it could work or not, the Mugen alone is fine for me!
