Picked up a JDM D15b Vtec swap for it today for 300 bucks. Started cleaning it up a little. Removed all the electrical tape and wire loom and went through all the half ass wiring. Fixed everything and reloomed it, tucked everything i could. So far the motor seems to be in good condition, it was full of oil, pulled the valve cover and everything inside seemed to be great, spark plugs were good..etc. I think i might do a compression test on it tomorrow just to be sure of everything before i drop it in there.:rock:

Harness back together.

Did a compression test today, got 180-190s across the board, seemed to be circulating oil into the head just fine. The linkage is bent and the driver side motor mount is blown so i need to get those and a set of axles before it goes in.

Also picked up a pint of Phantom Grey Pearl and sprayed the Valve cover. It came out with a bunch of tiny bubbles and shit, the heat wasnt really helping the situation. Ill sand it down and respray it on a cooler day.

Picked up a quart of Sebring Silver Metallic to spray the engine bay today. Gonna do the PGP valve cover, silver bay, and all polished accents. Hopefully gonna pick up linkage, a motor mount, and axles tomorrow.

Bought shift linkage, axles, a motor mount, a torque mount bracket, and an ac bracket last night. Now need the rain to stop so i can get something done.

Headlight harness' ran through inner fenders, fusebox mounted under the dash, dash back in. Ordered an aluminum radiator w/ slim fan, password JDM radiator stay, Ebay header, catalytic converter, HIDs, B&M precision short throw shifter, Shift knob, Duckbill, Clear Corner lights, Oil cap, and dipstick. Also picked up a rear disc brake swap from a teg today for 75 bucks. Went ahead and ordered some Energy Suspension trailing arm bushings for them before they go in. And bought a new Valve Cover gasket.

The next couple weeks will be like christmas everyday:oregonian_party2:

Towed the car to the carwash and degreased/pressure washed the engine bay so I can start prepping it for paint. Headlight harnesses are all soldered/heatshrunk and wire loomed. Picked up an Engine hoist so itll be there when im ready to drop the motor in. Bought a propane torch and burnt the trailing arm bushings out of the rear discs so i can install my new energy suspension bushings.

Didnt run this side through the metal inner fender, it was 4 in the morning and I got lazy lol

I have friday, saturday, and sunday off so i hope to get the bay painted if the rain holds off.

Working 12 hour shifts FTW!! At least 3 days off every week lol

Update-header, cat, radiator and duckbill spoiler came today. Just waiting on HIDs and my radiator stay

HIDs are in, not going to install untill the bay is painted and the front end is back on. Cleaned up the motor quite a bit, it was awful.

Before Purple Power degreaser and the carwash....

After...still not very clean.

A wire wheel does wonders!

Installed the duckbill.
