Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps

studs come in stock length, .5 in longer, or 3.75 in. cant choose how long you want your extended studs. also i like the way they look among many other benefits. end of convo

Like I said its opinion. But obviously its not needed. Stock length or 1/2 inch longer wouldve been fine for me. To me its just not the clean look I like to go for.Capt'n Obvious;232906 wrote:studs come in stock length, .5 in longer, or 3.75 in. cant choose how long you want your extended studs. also i like the way they look among many other benefits. end of convo

rich you have to run extended studs to use slip on spacers over 5mm thick . Thus why he is running extended studs... that and running slicks are the ONLY reasons extended studs are neededRich;232907 wrote:Like I said its opinion. But obviously its not needed. Well I understand that. Just saying lugs that long arent necessary. But its part of a style thing as well. Just not my style.N2HIFI;232917 wrote:rich you have to run extended studs to use slip on spacers over 5mm thick . yes they are necessary when running spacers, he is running spacers hence the necessity of running extended studs because you cannot run anything larger then 5mm on stock studsRich;232924 wrote:Well I understand that. Running studs that stick out almost 2 more inches is necessary? I get the running a somewhat extended lug. Im just questioning that much of an extension.N2HIFI;232925 wrote:yes they are necessary when running spacers, he is running spacers hence the necessity of running extended studs because you cannot run anything larger then 5mm on stock studs

dude its like a dog chasing its tail...I get what your saying. and i agree,a slightly longer stud would be fine, but for some reason people are brainwashed into this hella flush shit. Hopefully this fad is flushed soon. I HATE seeing people use slip on spacers.

My personal opinion...
Run parts out of necessity.
If your base necessity is a bandwagon trend....well....
to each his own, even though I will never understand.
