Glad to see that you got it all to work out and congrats
I spaced down the mounts and subframe equally to keep the engine/ axle angles the same. It sits about 1.5in lower than before. I plan on compensating the height differences through the coilovers.

What i thought you meant, was reffering to the fact the car was on jack stands, overexadurating how big the engine was and how much i had to lower it to make it fit.

Andy, you know more than some how interested in this swap I am. Nothing I asked was for my humor. It was in serious interest and to learn what needs to be done.

Once again, congrats on getting it done.

Also, I was simply asking with my original comment if you had to raise the suspension maybe 3/4" - 1" in order for clearance from the ground to oil pan since you spaced the engine down lower, that is all, just to clarify... not jack stands or anything
I'm still a neighborhood ASSHOLE!

I read it as he installed another manifold...
andyjt;210575 wrote:I cut the webbing, swapped manifolds and lowered everything down 1.5in. The oil pan wont scrape. There is PLENTY of clearance.
When I read that I assumed this was everything he had done that day... implying that he swapped on another new manifold from elsewhere
