you have to remember, this is all old stuff. this was all before the stlh came about.

i believe i bought wheels next. got a really good deal on some teg mesh wheels. they were painted bronze from previous owner. there were some chips and imperfections, so i before mounting tires; i wanted to clean em and respray them. i sold the sol's fat fives.

next i painted the tail lights. i was sick of looking at the shit. i was poorly looking for oem tails, but this would hold me over. i also removed the tint.

I installed a edelbrock intake manifold next. 2 months since the last time at the track (5-23-06) i ran a 2.3 60, 15.0 @ 92. duh fuck? i ran slower and i installed the manifold. i blame the heat. i wanted to go faster...

that intake manifold isn't designed for a stock motor and probably lost you some torque, that's why you went slower.

at the time i didnt trust any local tuners. the plan was to go to super dave. after a few phone calls we set up a time for me to come up. the car ran pig rich and couldnt hold an idle. we still had a truck collecting dust in the driveway, so i took that. i got a trailer from uhaul, and the next morning (4 am) i was off. once i got there i told dave about the car and set up. we set a goal and then started to go for it. fastward, the car couldnt be tuned due to unknown issue. i was on my way back home. 11 oclock, lots of money gone to wasted time, and now a non running car i left the car at frank leta acura (then 2nd job). monday came about and back to work. monday night i had the sol running again. a few days later i called speed and sound. i wasnt going back to super dave. once they had the car they ran into the same issue. fffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. they found out that the problem was an injector had froze wide open. i bought everything brand new, da fuck! i took the car back and went to work. i sent the RCs back and got a new set. s&s were able to street tune it for the time being. no dyno tune yet because they had to wait for another shops dyno to free up. daily driving the sol and never getting into boost was hard and it sucked. then and now asshole 99blackhatch had a project like mine going on at the time. he took his car from adrenaline to lowe and saw a huge improvment. i had to give them a shot. i told them what i was shooting for. later they got what i was looking for. i couldnt be happier.

the car was doing great until something came up... winter. i had to drive though some show and ice one night on my way home from work. i then made up my mind that i didnt want to dd this car. i sold a perfect dd to go turbo... now what? well i found some money layin around. still working at FLA i landed a sweet deal on a jeep.
