My Del Sol

Post by modthesol »

well im bored, sooooo im going to post some old pics/build time line of the del sol. good and bad. it will be a time line to now then update it as thangs change.

it all started when my brother was going through a devorce. he had a 99si, and he was scared she was going to take it. he sold it to make sure she wouldnt get it, and he had to pay for the lawyer and whatnot. a year or two went by and he wanted to get back into it. he asked me if i would help him fix up a car. my brother wanted to find a del sol. he thought it would be cool to have. it didnt take long to convince me, i was in. a couple days later i found a 95 del sol s for sale. my brother went and bought the car back in 04 for 3k. the car had 103k, and was stock other than the stereo, taillights and muffler. well 2 months went by and no mods. he was using it as a dd. i then made an offer to buy it from him. 2700 and the title was in my name. this is when i took delivery...

the first thing i did was lower the car. it took me a while to do this since when i bought it (see trees). i really didnt know what to do with the car, nor what i wanted to do. ground control coil overs, stock shocks, skunk 2 camber kit, spc rear camber kit.

then spring/summer came around. sorry for big blurry pic.

looking back now i cant believe what i did next. i guess mirror tint was next. trust me, it didnt last long. this is what it looked like... blurry. as stated in first post i said good and bad.
