work has been sucking up all my time, but i finally got some more work done on the car. nothing special here, but progress.

got the bay mostly stripped

pulled the dash out and some of the extra crap like the srs stuff

and now i am here. i need some help from you guys who are tucked. the plan is to run both the ds and ps main harness to the middle of the firewall right below where the heater core is. then cut a hole there and run the harness through the firewall to the back of the motor. i have the main drivers side harness pulled into the car, and now i'm trying to figure out the best way to run it. did you guys have to extend this harness? i tried to pull it out of the loom as much as i could, but its still a little short. also, are you guys running it high right behind the pedals? just curious if there is an easier way, or if you have to extend all 20 or so of these wires. or, i guess the other option is to just make the harness coming off the engine a little longer in through the firewall. any suggestions?

couple pics of what i'm asking

main plug running high behind the clutch pedal

Image

about as much slack as i have to work with this way

Image

the hole i'm going to make is below the heater core hole because i plan to keep heat.

one more question, any of you guys keep your wiper blades working? i'm trying to figure out the best way to run the wiper motor wire.

thanks for looking and any help

Run the wiper motor plug through the left side fender well through the squared off hole and pull it through the cowl around the wipers .

I tucked AJ's unicorn hatch through the center in the heater core hoses went . I also did a full tuck on bryan( orange94hatch) we went through a hole in the firewall to the left of the heater core hoses. We also retained the SRS with his car. Let me know if you need any help chris.
