True but it may not gain hp its awesome for daily driving. Chris explained to me what it meant on the dyno but I forget what lol. But with the power chamber it increases torgue between 3-5k rpms I believe.Silver Knight;31232 wrote:just because it sounds "amazing" doesn't mean its going to perform like it should..

It made torque fucking jump up when I dynoed it. I wish I could show you my sheet. But its the whole power chamber that does it. Ill try to upload my dyno sheet later.budget_crx;31278 wrote:that HUGE diameter in creases torque? since when do big flow areas create lots of torque?

funny part is he has a 6 inch round whale penis feeding a stock t/b and intake manifold, talk about trying to squeeze an orange through a hole the size of a grapebudget_crx;31278 wrote:that HUGE diameter in creases torque? since when do big flow areas create lots of torque?

It was tough enough getting that intake on my throttle body I would hate to see how hard it would be to put on a bigger one.deetz;31289 wrote:funny part is he has a 6 inch round whale penis feeding a stock t/b and intake manifold, talk about trying to squeeze an orange through a hole the size of a grape

yeah, 1 ft.lb. over my 2inch CAI... and my motor doesn't even run right.soundqjr;31286 wrote:It made torque fucking jump up when I dynoed it. I wish I could show you my sheet. But its the whole power chamber that does it. Ill try to upload my dyno sheet later.
I was referring to the fact that dyno comparisons show the AEM ITR CAI (the 3inch one) out performs the J's Racing style intakes on b-series motors

So, IMO it would have been money better spent buying an AEM hybrin intake (they are 3in diameter piping too), especially if you plan on swapping.
This post comes with a guarantee: I guarantee that I don't care what you think about it.

I agree but I mean my intake is better for daily driving bc the torque peaked at like 3500 rpms or something. I have to show you my sheet to understand what I am saying. The whale penis for me is for looks not for performance.Spork;31315 wrote:yeah, 1 ft.lb. over my 2inch CAI... and my motor doesn't even run right.
