Ok, so we didnt get it finished yet. But we were able to get it driveable. For the time being, i will have to use the stock hot pipe with BOV for the next week or so, until my buddy gets his Argon tank filled, and i have the time to go back to his house...
THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS
So here is how the day went:
Here is what i started with. This is with my stock SMIC that i have been using for almost 2 years now.

This is the garage where it all goes down.

after we tore down the front end.

The old one. 14+ year old SMIC.

For comparison

Cuttin' the bumper support.

Removed the A/C Condensor

Drilled the hole for the cold pipe.

Welded on mounting tab number 1.

First official test fit.

Cutting the first pipes.

First bend finished.

First pipe finished (lower cold pipe)

Pie-cuts FTW.

Welding the pipes.

2nd pipe finished. (lower hot side)

Pair of lower pipes.

End of night 1 pictures.

Day 2 fabrication:
Fitting the new cold pipe

Welding my IACV tube.

IACV tube welded to cold pipe.

End of day 2.

This is STILL a WORK IN PROGRESS. I need to polish all my piping, sand down some rough spots in the welds, and fab up the whole hot side of my intercooler piping.
So what do you guys think? :rr:
