Turbo Help
Yea shouldnt be too bad. I generally like to sit the turbo turbine side down ( generally they have vband flange tho, so they sit flat) and gently place it. You wouldnt think having offset the housing just a little would do much, but the clearances are pretty tight in the compressor and a slight knick can effect the balance of the turbo, essentially spinning itself to an unbalanced death lol.MaSSaCrE;275609 wrote:I laid the turbo into the housing on a flat surface and hand tightened each boltplate down evenly then used wrench rest of way. Kinda figured it woulda been a good idea. I did turn the housing clockwise so its angled better for my setup, hopefully thats fine lol.
