dammit, i wanted to post it! lol. we had just messed with my boost controller and i got a little ahead of myself and left the pins in my pocket. Man it was fucked. We left the hood along the side of the frontage road by 64, hehe. Rick was bleeding, I (non asian rick) was ok. Live and learn.........now i would only get the hood pins that lock automatically when you drop the hood........5thgen;269674 wrote:Had it happen to exnissanguy and I about 9 years ago I think.
It surprisingly didn't break the windshield....but did bend over and smash the sunroof. Shattering the glass pretty much on our face.

it happened to my old co-worker in his ek. his folded the hood over the roof and caved in the roof above the windshield. so he buys a new glass and hood and a week later it happens again. after that he said fuck it and rocked a busted windshield and bent the hood back and zip tied it down.

Watched this happen to a guy on Beltline in Collinsville not too long ago.
Was a white foxbody and looked like it was meant for the track.
He gunned it and got maybe 150 ft. before the hood smashed up and did a number on the windshield. He pulled off and put it down.
Didn't look like anyone was hurt thankfully.
