I've never once gotten the impression of rick being a cocky or arrogant person. i dont know where you get off implying that. he is a wealth of knowledge and this site is lucky to have him.

i dont really think there is anything wrong with the site itself, its more with the idiots that get on here and start shit and are generally ignorant. if you dont like the site then leave, if you like the site, but not rules then deal with it, if you come here and dont follow the rules, then you will be made to leave.

its as clear cut as that, we cant have everything, one thing that makes one person happy is gonna make 5 more pissed off. you cant make everyone happy its just not possible.

I've had no issues until recently. As long as I've been on here we all give each other shit time to time. But lately a lot of the new people just come in talking shit and spamming threads with just plain hate. It's pissing me off.

I agree with RyanA...should have a VIP section for the more mature/less dramatic members. I am on another board that has one (invisible to anyone NOT included) and it stays clean.

As far as over/under moderated goes...I think just a touch on the OVER side. I know there are lots of threads that get out of hand, but it's not any different than if two people were talking face to face in a parking lot...let them work it out between themselves. If it gets too lengthy, lock/delete the thread and 'encourage' the parties to keep it to PM conversation or exchange phone numbers and take it off board completely.

Personally, I pretty much keep my negativity to myself, so as not to start shit all over the place. But, I'm also not some young hot head that requires the approval of everyone for everything I do. Some people don't have the ability to filter their thoughts before they are typed/spoken/posted..I do.

People need to drop the "know it all" attitude (esp. about going fast in a 1/4 mile.....or roadracing/etc.....unless you have the awesome time slip proof to back it up).
