If this site is so "full of hate and drama" what would you do different

So, I see a lot of people that come on here and bitch about how this site is so full of drama and hate. I was just curious what would you change/do differently in the running of this site?

Are there rules you would change?

Do you think it is over/under moderated?

Would you handle cocky new people different?

Would you like more porn in the NSFW section?

I am honestly curious, so pleas be as detailed as possible. I would prefer if you didn't call out specific names of members/mod staff.

Not much that could be done. Since this is a local forum, there's gonna be stupid cliques and stuff that don't get along.

People just need to follow the idea that if you don't have anything nice to say about someone's car, don't post negative shit in their build thread like a stupid ass.

If people don't like what someone is selling or their price, don't post negative shit in their FS threads. Keep it to yourself.

If you don't like someone, don't go into the "sightings" section and go "I saw this dickhead (insert name). What a dick"

etc etc

Just douche bags don't understand this shit, and you can't fix stupid.

theres no way of stopping it, zach youve been here from the beginning, if you start banning people or deleting shit, youll be the only one attacked, id hate to have your job, this site is pretty much like myspace or facebook, itl take a complete wipe clean to even try to get it straight

People need to drop the "know it all" attitude (esp. about going fast in a 1/4 mile.....or roadracing/etc.....unless you have the awesome time slip proof to back it up).

And at the same time, people need to learn to research better.

The guys that attack people for offering others constructive criticism on their builds and then resort to personal attacks and threats are what seems to fuel a lot of the drama around here, IMO. Yes, I know I don't have a Honda, and my opinion may not really matter much, but I joined to learn how to fix the Accord that I used to have, and stuck around for the build threads that pop up from time to time and have learned a lot from reading those. It just seems that, when someone offers up some advice on how to do something, some people on here take offense to it (even though it has nothing to do with them) and derail the thread in an attempt to make themselves look like a know-it-all billy-badass.

as you attack me, its clear your good with hondas, but most the people who were here for hondas have left because of your type of people, mr. im 5th gen cloud 9 rep i know everything and the rest of you are less of a person then me, i dont recommend people here because its not a site for knowledge, its a bs type site now, super tyte leet for lyfe jdm doesnt help a guy with timing issues or injection questions, stop your bullshit rick and be the textbook of knowledge like you should be and this site would prosper

It's a fairly local board and it's pretty small. The morons have to mingle with the more knowledgeable. Unfortunately, they can only get along for so long. I used to post and try to help out but it seemed like a lot of the information fell on deaf ears. Due to this, I rarely post anymore. I'm no guru but I was able to help a few people on here.

Maybe we could have a beginner and "advanced" section of the board. Idiots and drama stays on the beginner side and people that actually want to learn get access to the advanced side. Pull some BS in the advanced portions of the board and immediately get demoted to the beginner section only. Yep, I understand that won't happen and it's not even a good suggestion; just trying to figure out a way to put like people together.

If it were this particular site giving you problems.....why do you have "banning" issues with other sites as well?

Its because of people like me, right?
You ever check the forums in the tech section and see what help people get from others? Even if it is small.....some people try and help out.

And yeah....I am full of jdm leetness....find a post where this is the case.
