So I found out my water pump is leaking so I am going to do the entire T-belt service along with a few other parts, and Im trying to decide if I want to go OEM or aftermarket for the parts. MY brain says OEM, but the pocket book says aftermarket.
Are the aftermarket componets for this going to live up to the OEM parts?
Im replacing the following
T-belt
Water pump
tensioner
cam seals
All other belts
Thermostat
I feel like Im forgetting something
Opinions please

I'd buy the waterpump from Acura.
Get your timing belt kit from O'reillys, it will include the belt and tensioner. I rock gates belts and such.
Thermostat is whatever really.

I was just reading a how to and noticed there is a tensioner spring. I assume that will be in the kit as well?

But if you want to replace the spring, theyre cheap from Acura. $3.47.
EDIT: http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/jsp ... vinsrch=no
The spring is the same for LS, GSR, whatev.
