Depends on your goals. It's about as simple as any other engine. You get out of it what you put into it I've seen them anywhere from 240- about 1100whp

Honestly I suggest you read up on it and do a lot of research and decide what you want out of the motor/setup

If your just going to do a simple turbo bolt on (and when I say simple, its not haha) then its a great motor. The b18b motor handles boost a little better than the other b series motors. But once you get into actually building the block, i was told by my tuner that it is almost useless to build the head just because they dont flow as well as the vtec's. So you could always do (if your planning on building the block and boost) a turbo Ls/Vtec conversion (basically just put a vtec head on there..they have conversion kits on goldeneagle's website)...I believe an Ls/vtec conversion kit is like $500-$800 but im not for sure. I have a b18b that is boosted but on a stock motor, and im eventually going to build the bottom end to handle more boost, so it all depends on your goals, and boost or no boost. :PDT_Armataz_01_11:

yes, set yourself a HP goal and intended use of the car and there are several folks that can steer you in the proper direction. IIRC @300whp is the limit on a stock LS motor, anything past that and you will need internal (and cylinder head) upgrades. ALOT of the durability of any modified (especially boosted) engine is in the tune and how it's maintained.
