i wasn't commenting on the title of the thread. i was commenting on your post...are you dumber than a pile of bricks? i was commenting on the fact that it doesn't take much other than intake, race header, exhaust, itr cams, kpro, and a good tune to reach a good power level that will put you deep into the 13's. your first post did not signify anything about swapping. just if you have deep pockets you can make a lot of power. its like that with any car.99BlackHatch;236648 wrote:Obviously you missed the title of the thread... Building a decent power K series isn't tough, swapping a K series into a chassis without it is.
Props to Allex for posting before reading
duh. again as stated before, please define build. these are not the b-series engines you guys are always working on. you don't need stage "x" cams or internals to reach great power levels with k-series.sharpie;236647 wrote:Yeah maybe it if it was already in the car but he has to buy a whole swap and then build it
yes i am. nice to meet you. i had to sell my escalade to help fund my new kid and woman. you know how it is.Topcityking;236693 wrote:An are you the real big black just jw

An yea I understand you gotta do wat you gotta do but yea I'm gonna swap cus it's faster if anyone wants the engine after I swap it just hit me up an we can make a deal or tradeBig Black;236705 wrote:i wasn't commenting on the title of the thread. i was commenting on your post...are you dumber than a pile of bricks? i was commenting on the fact that it doesn't take much other than intake, race header, exhaust, itr cams, kpro, and a good tune to reach a good power level that will put you deep into the 13's. your first post did not signify anything about swapping. just if you have deep pockets you can make a lot of power. its like that with any car.
props to you to on actually reading my post.
and fyi, yes i did read the thread before posting. all i read was blah blah blah.
to the OP, if you do decide to go the k24 route, you will not be sorry. it is a great honda engine to start with with decent torque. a few bolts on here and there and you will be very pleased with it. you could also spray it. these engines LOVE LOVE LOVE forced induction

Allex, you are informing me of nothing I didn't know. On the K20 in the newer Si's... with a after market header, 3" exhaust, a set of Go Power Stage 3 cams and a reflash on K pro... it pulled out 50+ whp and 25+ ft/lbs.Big Black;236705 wrote:i wasn't commenting on the title of the thread. i was commenting on your post...are you dumber than a pile of bricks? i was commenting on the fact that it doesn't take much other than intake, race header, exhaust, itr cams, kpro, and a good tune to reach a good power level that will put you deep into the 13's. your first post did not signify anything about swapping. just if you have deep pockets you can make a lot of power. its like that with any car.
